The Patriots, hoping to rebound from another frustrating loss to the Beermen, vie to stay on top against the Indonesia Warriors with top scorer Anthony Johnson still on board.
With Johnson and two other players set to serve their suspension on Wednesday, the Patriots hope to make the most out of their intact roster in the 5 p.m. (6 p.m. in Manila) game at the Mahaka Square in Jakarta.
“It would be very hard for us to win if the suspension was implemented in this game,” said Patriots coach Glenn Capacio.
The Beermen, with two players also slapped with a one-game ban, similarly hope to take advantage of their complete lineup against the Chang Thailand Slammers at 6 p.m. at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
After ruling the fight-marred duel against the Patriots, the Beermen (7-3) moved within striking distance of the lead shared by the Patriots and the Westports Malaysia Dragons (7-2).
