MANILA, Philippines—Kyrie Irving’s sixth signature shoe, the Nike Kyrie 6, has arrived and the Brooklyn Nets star made sure the basketball sneaker world would know, dropping a ‘Preheat Collection’ featuring 11 colorways in 11 cities including Manila.

“The Philippines’ boundless enthusiasm and passion for the game is celebrated through a side lenticular graphic of the uniquely designed courts you find tucked away in the smaller neighborhoods of Manila, A Filipino flag inspired image is featured on the left strap and to signify the Philippines, the right strap boasts the letters ‘PH,’” Nike said in a press release.

The Philippine-inspired kicks hit select Titan and Nike stores in limited quantities on November 11.

The Kyrie 6 has no shortage of Nike’s latest technology, which includes a 360 traction grip, while also keeping the same articulated Nike Air Zoom Turbo unit in the forefoot that helps make one of the most electrifying players today react quickly at all directions.

“The biggest accomplishment that we’ve had in my shoe line is just evolving with the technology at Nike, and it really being specifically made for me,” said Irving.

“The Zoom Airbag, 360 traction and the strap — the technology defines the functionality of the shoe. But it’s evolved into a beautiful design that incorporates different inspirations from past Nike shoes.”
