MANILA, Philippines–Meralco stayed hot, scoring a 92-74 beatdown of Columbian for a fourth straight win the 2019 PBA Governors’ Cup Friday.

The Bolts leaned on import Allen Durham and center Raymond Almazan to lead the demolition of the Dyip that put them steady at third place with a 7-2 card.

Durham put 34 points, 14 rebounds and five assists for Meralco while Almazan came out blasting with 18 points, 24 rebounds and two blocks.

The Dyip lagged behind early after just managing 11 points in the opening period but were able to make things exciting by cutting what was once an 18-point lead down to eight, 67-75, with over five minutes left.

But Bolts were prompt to restore order, responding with a 10-0 run to put the game beyond reach.

CJ Perez carried Columbian, which slipped to 4-6, with 21 points and six rebounds while Khapri Alston added 19 points and 16 boards.
