Li wins to set up all-China contest at Indian Wells

INDIAN WELLS – Reigning French Open champ Li Na of China rallied to win her opening second-round match at Indian Wells on Friday, beating Galina Voskoboeva 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.

Li, who is the first Asian player to win a Grand Slam title, had two aces and won 67 percent of her first serve points in the two hour, six minute match.

The eighth seeded Li advances to the third round where she will face countrywoman Zheng Jie, who beat Michaella Krajicek 6-1, 6-3 earlier on Friday.
