PH hosts World Para Bowling leg
The third leg of the World Para Bowling Tour 2019 will be held in the Philippines in coordination with the Philippine Para Tenpin Bowling Association (PPTBA) on Nov. 14 to 22 at Sta. Lucia East Grand Mall Bowling Center in Cainta, Rizal.
At least 100 Para bowlers from the Philippines and various Asian countries will participate in this tournament.
The country will be represented by the National Para Bowling Team, whose members have had remarkable achievements despite limited resources.
Article continues after this advertisementThe team garnered 17 medals, including a gold, in the 2017 South East Asian Para Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and another gold medal in the 2018 Asian Para Games in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The PPTBA is seeking support from groups and individuals for this event as it hopes to train more para bowlers for future competitions.
