ANGELES, Pampanga–The 2019 Southeast Asian Games torch run stopped at its final leg on Saturday here, exactly a week before the 11-nation sporting meet official opens.
Women’s volleyball team member Majoy Baron, two-time Olympian swimmer Jasmine Alkhaldi and Fil-American artist apl.de.ap of The Black Eyed Peas led the torch run, which also made stops in Davao and Cebu City.
After the lighting of the cauldron, runners participated in a five-kilometer run led by Baron and Alkhaldi.
