MANILA, Philippines—The National University women’s basketball team is scheduled to play a series of games against Malaysian squads starting March 26 as part of its preparation for the coming UAAP season.

As the host of the league’s 75th season, NU—backed by Ever Bilena and SM Supermarkets through Herbert Sy and Herson Sy— is leaving no stone unturned in its bid to stop the domination of Far Eastern University and Adamson in the tournament.

“We have been preparing hard for the coming UAAP season because the marching order is to make it to the Final Four,” said Ever Bilena chair Dioceldo Sy. “It’s going to be tough to beat the likes of FEU and Adamson but we’re improving steadily.”
