MANILA, Philippines—After dusting off the cobwebs in a narrow opening game win, Gilas Pilipinas Men made quick work of Myanmar, 21-10, to remain unbeaten in the 30th Southeast Asian Games 3×3 basketball Sunday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The Philippines’ size proved too much for Myanmar, which found no answer for stocky big men Jason Perkins and Mo Tautuaa on both ends.

Perkins bullied his way to 10 points while Tautuaa owned the boards and patrolled the paint as Myanmar had to bleed for points.

The 6-foot-4 Perkins scored seven of the hosts’ last eight points with still three minutes to spare.

Gilas climbed to 2-0 after overcoming a tough challenge by Indonesia earlier in the day.

The Filipinos clash with a dangerous Vietnamese side next before facing Thailand.

CJ Perez added five points while Chris Newsome and Tautuaa chipped in three apiece for the Philippines.
