SEA Games: Philippines wins 2 gold medals in women’s shooting

MANILA, Philippines– The Philippines churned out two gold medals in the women’s shooting events of the 30th Southeast Asian Games on Wednesday.

Marly Martir, a Philippine Navy officer, ruled the women’s WA 1500 Precision Pistol Course held at Marine Corps Training Center to add to the country’s golden haul.

She later teamed up with the Elvie Baldivino, and Franchette Quiroz to also win gold in the team category.

Quiroz and Baldivino wound up at fourth and ninth, respectively, in the individual event.
