MANILA, Philippines–The Philippines hammered out an 8-1 victory over Indonesia to keep its record unblemished and clinch a semifinal berth in the ice hockey event of the Southeast Asian Games Wednesday night.

The Eagles had six goals in the final period to hike their unbeaten run to three games before a frenzied crowd at SM MOA ice skating rink in Pasay.

Skipper Steven Füglister again led the way for the Nationals, hitting two goals—both coming in that blistering attack in the payoff frame.

Carlo Tenedero also had a pair of goals for the Filipinos to go with one each from Sam Bengzon, Kenneth Stern, and Miguel Relampagos.

Jan Regencia, the youngster who scored a pair of sensational goals to help bail the Eagles the night before, also registered one goal.

Next up for the reigning SEA Games champions are the Thais in a rematch of the 2017 Final. They tangle on Friday, the same time and venue.
