AFC Challenge Cup: Guirado puts PH Azkals ahead, 2-1, vs Tajikistan

MANILA, Philippines – Angel Guirado scored on a diving header in the 80th minute to put the Philippines ahead, 2-1, over Tajikistan in the AFC Challenge Cup at the Halchowk Stadium in Nepal.

If the Azkals hang on to their slim lead, they will face Turkmenistan in the semifinals on Friday.

Phil Younghusband scored the first goal for the Philippines in the 53rd.
