The typhoon halted several events but it did not stop the Filipino delegation from hauling in the gold medals to hike their lead in overall race of the 30th Southeast Asian Games.

Carlos Yulo once again ruled his pet event of floor exercise while wushu and arnis bets contributed heavily to the medal drive of the hosts.
