MANILA, Philippines—It’s going to be an all-Filipino affair for the women’s 10-ball final with Rubilen Amit and Chezka Centeno bundling out their respective foes in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games Friday at Manila Hotel Tent.
Amit dominated Myanmar’s Thandar Maung in her semifinal matchup, 7-2.
The six-time SEA Games gold medalist, whose collection 2013 10-ball top prize, raced to an early 3-rack lead before closing out Maung with four straight racks.
Centeno, meanwhile, held off A Mi Aung, 7-4.
The reigning 9-ball gold medalist split the first two racks with Aung before taking racks 3 and 4 to build a 3-1 lead.
Aung managed to get within a rack of Centeno, 5-4, before the Filipino closed out the match in racks 10 and 11.
The Filipina cue artists face off on Saturday at 4pm.
