MANILA, Philippines–The Philippines’ sprint bet Kristina Marie Knott set a new Southeast Asian Games record in ruling the women’s 200-meter heat in athletics Saturday at New Clark City Athletics Stadium.

The 24-year-old Knott clocked in at 23.07, wiping the SEA Games record set by Thailand’s Supavadee Khawpeag (23.30) in 2001.
