SEA Games: Dave Cea gives PH another medal in taekwondo

MANILA, Philippines—Dave Cea secured another gold medal for the Philippines after a 10-5 win over Nutthawee Klompong in the men’s under-74 kilograms taekwondo in the 30th Southeast Asian Games Sunday at Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Building a 10-0 lead after the first round, Cea kept his defense up to prevent Klompong from closing the gap in the second.

Cea joined Pauline Lopez as gold medalist for the Philippines so far in Day 2 of the taekwondo competitions.
