MANILA, Philippines—Five more Filipino bets entered the boxing final after a sweep of their respective semifinal matches Sunday in the 30th Southeast Asian Games.

They joined Marjo Pianar, Nesthy Petecio, Josie Gabuco, Eumir Marcial, and Carlos Paalam who earlier booked their tickets to the final round scheduled all day on Monday.

Irish Magno started the party with a majority decision win, 4-1, over Thailand’s Jutamas Jitpong in the women’s flyweight division.

Rogen Ladon then blitzed through Singapore’s Mohamed Hanurdeen Hamid via unanimous decision, 5-0, in the men’s flyweight division.

The unanimous decision win was a better outcome for Ladon after he scored a majority decision win over Indonesia’s Aldoms Sugoro in the quarterfinals.

Charly Suarez also had his unanimous decision win after punishing Vietnam’s Dat Thanh, 5-0, in the lightweight division.

This was Suarez’ second straight victory after a technical knockout win over Myanmar’s Min Arkar Paing in the quarterfinals.

Riza Pasuit also beat Indonesia’s Huswatun Hasanah, 4-1, in the women’s lightweight division while James Palicte had his way against Thailand’s Atichai Phoemsap with a majority decision win, 4-1, in the men’s light welterweight division.
