National team standouts Iain Ramsay and Luke Woodland will shore up two Thai League One clubs next season after completing their transfers recently.
Ramsay, who had a strong campaign with relegation battle survivor Sukhothai last season, has moved to Prachuap FC, a club that finished ninth in the 16-team T1, while Woodland joined Ratchaburi Mitr Pohl, where Manny Ott, Amin Nazari and Javier Patiño played last season.
Ramsay scored for the Azkals in the 2-1 win over the Maldives last month, after playing all 30 league matches for Sukhothai, where he contributed five goals and six assists.
Woodland who can play at midfield and in defense, played only 16 matches for Kuala Lumpur FC in Malaysia before he was released early this year.
The Thai League allows three Southeast Asian players per club with Filipinos as the most preferred by teams. Last season, 17 Filipinos were part of T1 clubs. INQ
