PH Asean Para Games moved to March due to ‘funding constraints’
MANILA, Philippines—The 2020 Asean Para Games hosted by the Philippines has been moved to a later date from its original schedule in January amid “financial constraints and logistical difficulties.”
From its original dates of Jan. 18 to 25 2020, the Para Games, a multi-sport event for differently-abled athletes in the region, would instead be held in March.

The Asean Para Games is a twin event of the biennial Southeast Asian Games, which the Philippines also just recently hosted.

Barredo added that shifting the schedule to March would allow the PPC “to be able to have enough time for financial and logistical matters to be settled.”
