Sta. Lucia Realtors revamp team to start 2020

MANILA, Philippines—Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors opened the new year with a complete revamp of the team.

In an emotional post on its official Facebook account, the club thanked its players, coaches, and staff who have represented the Lady Realtors for almost three years in the Philippine Super Liga.

“There would be no such thing as the future if the past did not pave the way. That said, before we move forward to #thenewSTALUCIA, allow us to offer our sincerest gratitude to these hardworking people who were part of our previous campaigns like #StaLucia2K18, #rebuildtheLAND, and more,” the team said on its Facebook page.

Sta. Lucia joined the PSL in 2017 but failed to enter the podium in all the conferences with the highest placing being a fifth-place finish in that year’s Grand Prix.

The team has also yet to name a replacement for head coach Babes Castillo.

“To the coaches, managers, trainers, physical therapists, team staff, and especially the players who represented Team Sta. Lucia with pride and dignity, Thank you very much! We wish you all the best in your path in this new decade and beyond,” the team also said.

The club has also begun teasing about the new team with the hasthag #thenewSTALUCIA.
