NCAA volleyball: Arellano blanks Mapua for 2-0 start

MANILA, Philippines–Arellano picked up its second straight win after disposing of Mapua, 25-13, 25-20, 25-12, Thursday in the 95th NCAA women’s volleyball at FilOil Flying V Center.

But compared to their opening day win, the Lady Chiefs didn’t have a tough time scoring the win over the disjointed Lady Cardinals.

Regine Arocha once again led Arellano with 19 points, while Princess Bello and Carla Donato chipped in seven markers apiece.

Sarah Princess Verutiao, Miakaela Juanich and Necole Ebuen contributed six points apiece for the Lady Chiefs.
