Benilde lady spikers shoot for third straight win
The young band of spikers from St. Benilde get a crack at solo leadership when they clash with Letran Monday in the 95th NCAA women’s volleyball at Filoil Flying V Centre.
Led by rookies Mycah Go and Gayle Pascual, the Lady Blazers shoot for win No. 3 in their 12 noon clash with the Lady Knights, who are coming off a triumphant debut themselves.Mapua and Emilio Aguinaldo, losers in their first outings, clash in the 2 p.m. contest.
Go and Pascual were both pivotal in St. Benilde’s victories over Perpetual and Lyceum last week.They form part of the revamped Lady Blazers under Jerry Yee, as Benilde eyes to break the Arellano dynasty and win its first title in four years.

Cunada, only in her sophomore year, exploded with 24 points in Letran’s victory over EAC.Joining the top Lady Knight at the forefront are rookies Dane Ohya and Julienne Castro, who were also impressive in their debut after scoring 15 and 11 points, respectively. INQ
