NCAA volleyball: St. Benilde still spotless, keeps EAC winless

MANILA, Philippines–St. Benilde solidified its hold of the top spot after blasting Emilio Aguinaldo, 25-20, 25-21, 25-17, for its fourth win Thursday in the 95th NCAA women’s volleyball at FilOil Flying V Center.

The Lady Blazers even deployed their second stringers most of the way, and only fielded in top players Mycah Go and Gayle Pascual in the third set when the match was practically in the bag.


Coach Jerry Yee opted to useand Michelle Gamit extensively and they responded by scoring 16 and 11 points, respectively for the Lady Blazers.

It was the Lady Generals’ third straight defeat, and have been winless in 13 matches spanning the last season.
