Playoff-bound Pasig still has lot to learn

For playoff-bound Pasig-Sta. Lucia and its coach, Bong dela Cruz, the turnaround is far from finished in the Chooks-to-Go MPBL Lakan Season.

After clinching a spot in the North division playoffs with a thrilling 107-100 win over Navotas at Alonte Sports Arena last Saturday night, the Realtors are seeking bigger goals as the elimination round nears its end.

“Everyone knows that Pasig was at the bottom last season so this is a big achievement for us, but we can’t stop now,” said Dela Cruz, whose team now has 17 wins, up from the paltry tally of four victories in the Datu Cup.

“We will take it one game at a time from here,” added the former University of Santo Tomas coach.

At the forefront of the turnaround, Jeric Teng also vowed to carry the fight for the Realtors as they try to gain a better seeding in the North division playoffs. INQ
