ONE: Jomary Torres bid to stop losing skid ends in no contest

MANILA, Philippines—Jomary Torres’ quest for a win ended in a no contest against Jenny Huang of Chinese Taipei in the opening match of ONE: Fire and Fury Friday at Mall of Asia Arena.

The Filipino atomweight, who is in a four-fight losing streak after 4-0 start, was looking to stop the tailspin against Huang (5-5) but absorbed two shots to the groin and was not able to continue after the second injury time.

Both fighters were carrying lengthy losing streaks with Huang in 0-5 skid and the no contest did not give them any reprieve from their miserable records.
