MANILA, Philippines—Greg Slaughter belied any rumors that befell his name following his sabbatical from Barangay Ginebra and the PBA.
Taking to Twitter to air his side, Slaughter said there “have been a lot of inaccurate theories” about his decision to momentarily leave his team.
“I never received any contract offer. It’s unfair to say I made demands when there was no offer,” wrote Slaughter. “I was never aware of any trade.”
There have been a lot of inaccurate theories going around about my recent decision, here are facts.

2) I was never aware of any trade.
