MANILA, Philippines — Barangay Ginebra’s multi-titled import Justin Brownlee is suiting up for San Miguel Alab Pilipinas as he takes another crack at the Asean Basketball League crown.

Alab Pilipinas team owner Charlie Dy confirmed the development to the Inquirer, saying that Brownlee, who led the Gin Kings to the title in the PBA Governors’ Cup last month, will play against the Kuala Lumpur Dragons on Wednesday in Kuala Lumpur.

Brownlee who replaced Prince Williams in the Alab lineup will team up with Nick King and Sam Deguara.

With Brownlee and Renaldo Balkman leading the way, Alab captured the ABL crown two seasons ago, beating Mono Vampire of Thailand in the best of five finals.

Even with its inconsistent play, Alab is currently in second spot with a 9-5 record, behind Mono Vampire with a 10-4 card.
