CAINTA, Rizal — Philippine team standout Kenneth Chua used his experience in pressure games to rule the Masters class in the 6th Grand Mall Tenpin Bowling Club (GMTBC)-Yee Lu Fa Open on Sunday at the Sta. Lucia Grand Mall Bowling Center.

Chua, who also represented TBAM-Prima, pactically climbed out of a hole in posting his first win in this annual sports event.

He was near bottom of the 33-man field after scoring 136 in the third game, then used his skill and experience to reach the top six players after eight games and the stepladder stage of the finals.

The top six players then played two more games to determine the top three. At the end, only Stephen Diwa, Ian Dychangco, and Chua, all of TBAM-Prima, remained for the stepladder stage of the finals.

Chua first defeated Dychangco in a one-game face-off, 168-156, then Diwa in two games, 441-402.

Earlier in the day, Jules Pedrajas of USBC posted a total score of 2063 to win the Senior Masters title.

Fr. Benny Tuazon of TBAM-Cuisiniers was second with 2018, while Pet Agluba of Sletba was third with 1997.
