Tamaraws claim tie for UAAP men’s volleyball lead

Far Eastern claimed a share of the UAAP men’s volleyball tournament lead after nipping Santo Tomas, 25-21, 24-26, 20-25, 25-22, 15-12, on Sunday at Mall of Asia Arena. The runners-up last season, the Tamaraws tied defending champion National University atop the standings at 2-0, while dealing the Tiger Spikers a second straight defeat. Women’s action saw the UST Golden Tigresses rip the Lady Tamaraws, 25-20, 25-16, 25-18, for their first win in two games.
