WWE legend Rikishi postpones PH wrestling clinic

MANILA, Philippines—WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi’s wrestling clinic in the Philippines has also been postponed due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

Rikishi, real life Solofa F. Fatu Jr., was initially scheduled to hold a public appearance with Reno “Black Pearl” Anoa’I on March 18 in Mandala Park, Mandaluyong City.

KnokX Pro and RED Boxing International collaborated to form World Wrestling Asia and part of its promotional tour was to bring Rikishi to the Philippines.

Rikishi’s clinics and public appearances has been rescheduled in May.

“We hope to see you again when this crisis is over, meanwhile, stay safe and be healthy,” the organizers said in a statement.

The Philippines has 64 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and six have died.
