MANILA, Philippines—Donovan Mitchell remains in high spirits as he continues to recover after testing positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Utah’s All-Star guard thanked his supporters and assured everyone that he’s following every medical procedure to combat the virus.

“I just want to thank you guys so much for your continued support, it means a lot to me,” said Mitchell in a video posted on the official Instagram account of the NBA Sunday. “I feel fine, things are going well.”

“[I’m] just taking the proper precautions as told to me by the health authorities.”

Mitchell was the second NBA player to be diagnosed with the virus after teammate Rudy Gobert was tested as the first patient of the virus in the league.

In self-quarantine, Mitchell said he’s been keeping himself busy “video games all day” while showing determination to get back on the floor once the season resumes.

“I can’t wait to get there on the floor and play in front of the best fans in the world. I really miss playing in front of you guys and I’ll see you soon,” said Mitchell.
