Reunion of dominant PH champions will have to wait

Around this time last year, the Philippines was busy putting up the building blocks of its 2019 Southeast Asian Games domination in triathlon.

Out on the hilly course inside the former Subic Bay Naval Base, Filipino racers stamped their class on an international field.

As in other world sporting bodies, the COVID-19 pandemic also wrought havoc on the ITU calendar, including world rankings, Olympic qualification, Paratriathlon and Paralympics qualifications. INQ
