WATCH: PH golf star Miguel Tabuena nails trick shot
MANILA, Philippines–Filipino Olympian golfer Miguel Tabuena sure knows how to keep himself entertained while staying at home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tabuena didn’t need to be on a golf course to play his favorite sport as he posted videos of himself on Instagram doing trick shots.
“when they tell you to stay put and #flattenthecurve, you STAY PUT,” posted Tabuena as he firmly landed the ball right in the middle of a mat in one of his videos.
The 25-year-old Tabuena, one of the most promising players in the country, represented the Philippines in the Rio Olympics in 2016.
Tabuena, a silver medalist in the 2010 Asian Games, is on pace to make a second straight trip to the Summer Games.
