NBA players share basketball drills through Jr. NBA at Home initative

MANILA, Philippines—Staying indoors may be seen as a damper to physical activities, but the NBA begs to differ.

The league launched Jr. NBA at Home workout program where boys and girls can still do some basketball drills even inside their homes while the world is on lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Jr. NBA at Home is a free interactive content series featuring NBA and WNBA players as the pseudo-coaches in this long-distance workout.

Trae Young, Jaren Jackson, Jewel Lloyd, Larry Nance Jr., Jaren Jackson Jr., Vanessa McClendon, Renee Montgomery, Duncan Robinson, Devonté Graham, and Matisse Thybulle have all participated in the campaign with their videos available at jr.nba.com and in Jr. NBA’s YouTube account.

Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle also showed shooting drills without even needing a hoop.

The Jr. NBA at Home videos have so far racked up over 5.4 million views, becoming a top resource for young ballers who want to continue working on their craft during these trying times.
