MANILA, Philippines—Former La Salle ace Ara Galang has joined ex-Ateneo star Jia Morado’s cause in helping the country’s gallant frontliners against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Galang, the UAAP Season 75 MVP, followed suit in auctioning off her La Salle jersey she used during her celebrated UAAP career.

“It’s very touching to see people come together for a great cause!” Morado wrote on Twitter Saturday. “Let us continue supporting the ongoing relief efforts happening in the country right now! Together, we can! For our frontliners, WE WILL! #EveryLittleThingsCounts #ForOurFrontlinersPH,”

“We would like to thank Mac Dionisio & Ara Galang for unexpectedly reaching out to share the jersey of one of the most talented & humble players in the country.”

Galang’s jersey is now being auctioned off on Every Little Things Count Facebook page with the bid starting at P1,200.

The proceeds will be used to provide personal protective equipment (PPE) for the country’s workforce at the forefront of the battle against the deadly virus.
