NBA planning to hold, televise game of H-O-R-S-E
MANILA, Philippines — With the NBA season still in limbo over the coronavirus pandemic, the league’s officials and EPSN are reportedly working on a televised H-O-R-S-E competition involving “several high-profile players.”
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski was the first to report on the development.
Article continues after this advertisementAs per the report, the NBA, NBPA, and ESPN are in discussion about a competition involving the players serving isolation due to the deadly virus.
Using their home gyms, the players will compete shot for shot in the traditional playground game.
H-O-R-S-E is played between two or more individuals where a type of shot made by the first one who hit it will be attempted by the other players.
Article continues after this advertisementA failed attempt to make the same exact shot will result to a player getting a letter from the word “Horse.” A player will be eliminated after five misses as each unsuccessful attempt corresponds to one letter.
The game goes on until only one player is left.
Wojnarowksi added that the schedule and players involved in the competition are still being finalized.
