Nike announced on Sunday that it has launched a new at-home workout challenge which will give fitness fans the chance to compete against world-famous sports stars.

The new digital workout series, appropriately named The Living Room Cup, is the company’s latest way of keeping us all moving while self-isolating at home, after the sports giant announced last month that it would make its NTC Premium streaming service free to United States subscribers.

The company has enlisted the help of many of its famous ambassadors for the series, who will set weekly fitness challenges for those of us who want to stay fit during the current lockdowns. The first challenge is an ab workout courtesy of Cristiano Ronaldo, which the footballer shared via his Instagram account. Ronaldo’s fans have one week to beat his best score before the next athlete announces the new challenge.

If you need some extra help to beat the pros, then log onto the company’s training app to take part in a weekly workout specially designed to help give you the edge for each week’s challenge.

Those taking part can share their results on their Instagram profiles using the hashtags #playinside and #thelivingroomcup. RGA
