Arbilon, who seized the mixed team relay gold medal in the laser run with Samuel German during the Southeast Asian Games in Subic, finished just a second behind Australian Aleska Van Heekeren (7:26) for the title of the run and shoot discipline in the women’s side.

Arbilon’s time of 7:27, however, propelled her to the team gold relay with Comaling, the men’s beach triathlete champion in the SEA Games. INQ
