MANILA, Philippines —  PBA star Kiefer Ravena has always supported his younger brother in all of his decisions, and Thirdy’s move to play in the Japanese B.League is no different.

“Great for him. Always proud of what he achieved and looking forward to his career in Japan,” Kiefer told INQUIRER.net Wednesday.

“Hopefully, we get to watch his games there.”

Thirdy, one of the top young players in the country, will suit up for the SAN EN NeoPhoenix ballclub as its Asian import.

The 23-year-old Thirdy had already made his intentions clear about playing overseas after skipping the PBA Draft last year.

“The pressure will be different if you’re an import because you’re expected to perform right away,” said Thirdy in a previous interview. “I am just preparing myself for the challenge.”

The B.League season tips off in October.
