MANILA, Philippines — Aside from staging its first flagship event since the coronavirus pandemic on July 31, ONE Championship announced nine more shows scheduled for this year.

ONE chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong bared the dates of the upcoming events on his Facebook account Monday as the promotion slowly goes back into full swing.

After the No Surrender card, which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, this month, the promotion has set three events each for the next three months beginning in August.

“Without the extraordinary grit and creativity of my team at ONE Championship, nothing would have been possible,” Sityodtong wrote.

“The world is suffering through the worst crisis in 100 years. Most borders are still shut everywhere, as COVID-19 continues to ravage the global economy. Thank you to the greatest team in the world for always finding a way!”

The events, though, will still be staged behind closed doors.

For now, only the dates Aug. 14, Aug. 21, Aug. 28, Sept. 11, Sept. 18, Sept. 25, Oct. 9, Oct. 16 and Oct. 30 have been revealed as additional details will be known in the coming weeks.
