Filipino ace Miko Eala trains with tennis great Rafael Nadal

MANILA, Philippines—Filipino tennis prospect Miko Eala already graduated from the Rafa Nadal International School in Spain but he received much more than a diploma.

Eala got a chance to become Nadal’s practice partner and the 17-year-old did not disappoint, returning the World no.2’s forehands with precision.

The @rafaelnadal__ Instagram fan page shared the videos of Nadal and Eala training in Spain.

“HUUUUGE day for me yesterday, as I got to hit with Rafa Nadal! If you listen closely you can hear me grunting haha….ang bigat ng bola (he was hitting it really hard),” reposted Eala on Facebook.

Eala is set to play for Penn State University in NCAA Division 1 after his graduation from the Rafa Nadal Academy. He is also the brother of 2020 Australian Open juniors doubles winner Alex Eala.
