Gasols spend quality time with Bryant family

MANILA, Philippines — Not only is Pau Gasol among the top big men in the NBA, he’s also one of the best uncles and friends around.

The two-time NBA champion and his wife Cat Gasol recently had a getaway together with the Bryant family, a testament to the kind of relationship he had with the late great Kobe Bryant.

Gasol and Bryant were teammates for the Los Angeles Lakers and they led the team to back-to-back titles in 2009 and 2010. And as great as their chemistry was inside the court, the dynamic duo also shared a strong bond outside of it.

Vanessa also shared images of her and Gasol’s family’s vacation on her Instagram account, including a picture of her youngest daughter Bianka cradled on the six-time All-Star’s arm.

Gasol also received a pair of Kobe 5 Protros from Vanessa.
