Celtics’ forward Gordon Hawyward and his wife Robyn welcomed a new addition to their family on Wednesday.

Robyn Hayward, in a post on Instagram, announced the birth of their son Gordon Theodore Hayward before the Celtics’ Game 4 match up against the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals.

“Our little man is finally here!” she wrote in the caption. “If you ask @gordonhayward his name is GT, but if you ask me and the girls his name is Theo.”

The newborn Theo was clad in Celtics gear with “BABY G” and No. 20 on the back, ready to support his father ahead of Game 4. The Celtics lost 112-109 to trail the Heat 3-1.

Hayward chose to stay with the team instead of flying home for the birth of his son, having spent some time with his family before he joined the NBA bubble because of a sprained ankle. He returned in Game 3.
