MANILA, Philippines — National University alumnus Jeff Napa has been tapped as the new head coach of the Bulldogs, the school announced Friday.
Napa was a former coach for the NU Bullpups—a team he steered to three UAAP juniors titles from 2011 to 2016.

He took over the position left by Goldwyn Monteverde, who resigned after just nine months since his appointment as Jamike Jarin’s replacement.
Napa currently serves as an assistant coach for the NorthPort Batang Pier in the PBA.
He’s also had head coaching stints with the Letran Knights and recently with Centro Escolar University.
The Bulldogs haven’t made the Final Four since UAAP Season 78.
