MANILA, Philippines — PBA fans will finally be able to virtually watch games inside the bubble beginning Thursday.

The virtual fan wall seen inside the AUF Sports Arena & Cultural Center had only been open exclusively for PBA teams’ families, officials, staff, and the media during its trial stage.

The PBA had originally planned to open the virtual fan section to the public on Friday, but insistent demand prompted the league to move it a day earlier just in time for Barangay Ginebra’s second game in the bubble.

“A lot of fans called and said they want to watch the games as virtual fans,” said PBA commissioner Willie Marcial, who added that virtual fan slots are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Games on Thursday will feature Ginebra and Blackwater, who are both coming off victories, in the main game while Phoenix Super LPG and NorthPort are on tap in the curtain raiser at 4 p.m.

Fans who are interested to become a virtual fan will have to register on the links which will be posted on the league’s social media sites daily.
