MANILA, Philippines—TNT guard RR Pogoy has been listed as day-to-day after suffering an ankle sprain in the Tropang Giga’s game against San Miguel in the PBA Philippine Cup Friday at Angeles University Foundation.

Pogoy hurt his ankle twice in the game against the Beermen, first landing on Gelo Alolino’s foot and then next hurting it in a defensive play early in the fourth quarter.

Despite Pogoy’s exit, the Tropang Giga still batted the Beermen around coming away with a dominant 107-88 win.

“He’s still under observation, so far his status is day-to-day,” said TNT team manager Gabby Cui as per the PBA’s official website.

TNT head coach Bong Ravena provided a more optimistic outlook for his spitfire guard.

“So far so good, we hope he won’t miss any game, said Ravena.

Pogoy exited the game with 15 points and four rebounds but he began his bubble campaign with a career-high 45 points in TNT’s 100-95 win over Alaska.

The Tropang Giga are atop the standings with a 3-0 card.
