3×3 league cleared to tip off after zero positive test
MANILA, Philippines — Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3×3 is set to start the President’s Cup after no player and staff tested positive for COVID-19.
A total of 58 players were tested when they arrived at Inspire Academy in Calamba on October 17, with not a single one testing positive for the virus.
Another 122 individuals, who were comprised of league officials, staff, and essential workers, were also tested.
“The 2020 Chooks to Go Pilipinas 3×3 President’s Cup will therefore commence on October 21 at 1:00 pm,” said the league’s medical consultant Dr. Butch Ong, who’s a member of the University of the Philippines Science and Society Program.
