National U shoots for lead vs FEU

NATIONAL U seeks a share of the lead when it tangles with debuting Far Eastern U today in the Filoil-Flying V Hanes Premiere Preseason Cup.

Gametime is at 1:45 p.m. with the Bulldogs, who overpowered Jose Rizal U, 88-49, in the season-opener, looking to join Ateneo and San Beda on top.

Letran tries to bounce back against University of the East in the second game at 3:30 p.m.


The Knights bowed to the Eagles, 51-55, last Saturday, but they remain favored against the Warriors, who are still rebuilding their roster following the graduation of their standouts the past two seasons.


National U, with UAAP Most Valuable Player Bobby Ray Parks leading the way, will be ranged against an FEU squad reeling from the departure of key players.
