MANILA, Philippines — Blackwater’s return to action will have to wait a little longer after the Elite’s game has been postponed for the second straight time.

The PBA on Wednesday pushed back Blackwater’s game against Magnolia originally set Wednesday at 4 p.m.

“The game between Magnolia Hotshots and Blackwater Elite at 4pm today is canceled pending IATF approval,” the league said in a statement.

It marked the second time in three days that the Elite’s game has been postponed after one of Blackwater’s players initially tested positive for COVID-19.

The player has since yielded negative results on his RT-PCR test and antigen test.

Meanwhile, the main game, scheduled at 6:45 p.m., featuring Meralco and defending champion San Miguel Beer will push through.
