MANILA, Philippines — Mark Caguioa, for the past several years, has been the butt of jokes across Facebook meme pages when it comes to the PBA and on Tuesday, he acknowledged one of the recurring topics that he’s been dealt with.

After Barangay Ginebra’s 87-81 win over Alaska, Caguioa took to Instagram to post his impressive stat line.

“It was a very scary game against a very tough Alaska team. But I’m glad we won this game. My stats for tonight is 2 wafer biscuit and a Gatorade 😜😜😜 #NSD,” wrote Caguioa, who didn’t see action against the Aces.

Caguioa, the 2012 MVP, has been made fun of for his lack of playing time with meme pages even scouring game replays for any footage of him drinking a cup of the sports drink.

This wasn’t the first time that Caguioa responded to jokesters with his own jest as he shouted, “Sinong kangkong ngayon?” over the microphone during their 2016 Governors’ Cup title in reference to fans’ name-calling of the club describing the Gin Kings to the common water spinach.
