Marck Espejo set to play in Bahrain as import
MANILA, Philippines—Marck Espejo continues his international career after stops in Japan and Thailand.
The Filipino volleyball star signed up with Bahrain Volleyball League club Bani Jamra, becoming the first Filipino player to enter the professional competition.
Both Cignal, Espejo’s club team in the Philippines, and Bani Jamra announced the signing of the 6-foot-2 wing spiker.

Espejo, the only five-time UAAP volleyball MVP, first played overseas with Oita Miyoshi Weisse Adler in Japan’s V.League in 2018 then he signed with Visakha Volleyball Club in the Thai League after the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.
